TECHNICAL PRODUCTION TEAM
Technical Production Team Volunteers
The Technical Production Team at Westerville Christian Church is a group of highly determined, dedicated and eager servants who strive for excellence and value one another. Our goal is to create a worship environment that is comfortable and inviting. We pray that God uses our spiritual gifts to help create an engaging worship that will lead people to Christ. If that sounds exciting and if you’re willing to learn, stretch yourself and try some new things, please consider serving alongside us. We have both technical and nontechnical positions, and no prior experience is necessary.
Our main volunteer roles are:
- Lighting Operator The Lighting Operator prepares and operates the equipment used to light both the stage and the sanctuary on Sundays. They focus on illuminating properly, creating atmosphere, and focusing attention.
- Audio Tech The Audio Tech is responsible for the set-up, monitoring, and adjustment of all audio equipment. Their role is to support the band, speaker, and all on-stage personnel as they lead or communicate to the audience on Sunday. They focus on facilitating worship and communication, focusing attention, and removing distractions.
- Media Operator The Media Operator adjusts and operates the equipment necessary to display any graphics, video or characters that are needed to enhance worship (ie: worship lyrics, Bible verses, etc.). They focus on enhancing and delivering the worship and the message, creating visual appeal, focusing attention, and supporting the communicator.
- Service Producer The Service Producer directs the flow of people and props to and from the stage. They also regulate traffic near the stage and manage any additional personnel entering or exiting the stage area (ie: guest speakers, baptisms, membership placement, etc.). They focus on creating the environment, enhancing visual communication, and supporting the communicator.
