Who is Fearless Freddie?

Many of you have probably seen our fuzzy blue buddy in the lobby outside the Arena. But, many of you may not know who or what he is.

Let me introduce you! This….is Fearless Freddie. He is our wcKids mascot for the Fearless Campaign that began back in 2021. He has been a fun way for the kids to give their offering money over the past year. They put their offering money in either his food bowl or in their hand, put it up to his snout, turn on the orange button on his head, and it will suck the money into his stomach. So much fun! Our wcKids love to have Freddie “eat” their offering money.

The wcKids Fearless goal for the 3-year campaign is $4,000. We are one year into the campaign, and Freddie has eaten $1,206.40 of the kids offering, leaving them $2,793.60 left to raise within the next two years to reach their goal.

Can I tell you how amazing that is? These kids are not only fearless, but they are also generous!! It makes my heart so joyful that they trust God with their money. What a beautiful reflection of Jesus these kids are displaying, and what a marvelous lesson we can learn from them! Are you trusting God with your money, with your fears, with your relationships, with your everything? God wants us to come to Him just as these children are; fearless, fully trusting, generous, and unashamed.
