When an ordinary day on the calendar becomes extraordinary!

I feel it’s safe to say that most people have a calendar in front of them every day. I know I do. It could be a low tech one that hangs on a wall or the latest app or software that syncs between all the devices you own. The simple fact is we need to know what day it is, and we need to know what’s coming in the days ahead.

Let’s take a quick journey back in the past of Westerville Christian Church. We have chosen special Sundays over the last three years to signify a wonderful opportunity. We call them “Baptism Sundays!” A Sunday on the calendar just like any other Sunday on the calendar. The difference, it can become a special day on Your calendar. Have you ever wondered about getting baptized? Have you just thought I’ll get around to it someday? If I’m describing, you I think you should circle Sunday, February 4, 2024, on your calendar.

We all know that you can get baptized on any day of the week and at any time. One thing that I know that helps me is to have a plan on the calendar.

If you want to choose this date and invite friends and family to your baptism, please let us know. It will help me tremendously if I know you are coming. Please fill out this Baptism Sunday form on the website under events or through the WCC app.

If you have questions about baptism and baptism Sundays, I will be hosting two Baptism classes on Sunday morning, January 28th, during both services and Wednesday night, January 31 st at 6:30P in the HOPE Cafe. These classes are good for people of any age. Please fill out the form for the baptism class. (You can always just show up too, I will be ready) If you have been wanting to be baptized and you just have had a hard time deciding when, Sunday, February 4th will be your day.
