Last Saturday, I stopped at Starbucks for something to drink. I asked for an iced grande sweetened black tea lemonade, one of my favorite drinks that’s not coffee. I can go off-script from time to time.
The nice guy at the register took my card and phone, so I could get stars that earn me free coffee. Always a good move. He was having trouble with his register and needed to try another one. After a few moments, he came back with my drink, my card, and my phone and said the magic words. Your drink is on me today. IT’S FREE! You could almost hear the harp music playing in the background and the birds chirping in the air; it was a great moment.
The only thing better than Starbucks is FREE Starbucks.
Now, this statement can apply to about anything. The only thing better than a car is a free car. The only thing better than food is free food. The only thing better than RightNow Media is (here’s a hint, It’s always been free for you)
