Countdown to Camp: Discover the Magic of Round Lake
It sure hasn’t felt like summer this week, but the hot days and all that they bring will be here before we know it.
If you’ve been at Westerville Christian for a while, you probably know that nothing says summer like Round Lake Christian Camp! Last summer 114 kids from Westerville Christian Church attended a summer session at Round Lake to worship Jesus, study the Bible, build friendships, and of course, swim in the lake!
It’s a highlight of the summer for many kids, aged preschool through 9th grade!
“It’s a place to help grow and even find your faith for some. God wants us to praise Him in community, and Round Lake is the perfect place to do that.” - Nora Fannon, 7th grade
Twins, Logan and Alayna Bussa, both love Round Lake for different reasons.
“I love Round Lake because I love playing games, worshipping God, and going to campfire before bed.” - Logan Bussa, 5th grade
“It’s a place to have fun while learning about God. It’s a place to make new friends and hang out with old friends, and a place to ask questions and understand what it means to be a Christian. It’s the best camp! I have a lot of fun and love it there!” - Alyana Bussa, 5th grade
During the summer camp sessions many churches around central and northeast Ohio come to Round Lake, so students get the unique opportunity to deepen church friendships while also meeting students from other churches.
Westerville Christian chooses sessions that we encourage our students to attend. Angie Biniker or Becky Medley will be attending the following sessions:
Ages 4 - 6 Junior Day Camp August 3 *parent must attend with camper
1st - 2nd Grade Day Camp One July 2
2nd - 3rd Grade Overnight Camp June 30 - July 1
3rd - 4th Grade Camp Four July 31 - August 2
5th - 6th Grade Camp Two July 14 - 19
7th - 9th Grade Camp One July 7 - 12
*It’s important to know that you will register your student for the grade they will ENTER in Fall 2024.
