We're excited about this major staffing announcement!

On Sunday, May 22, I announced the three staff changes involving Angie Biniker, Becky Medley, and Luke Borton.

Angie Biniker Angie is currently our WCKids Ministry Assistant and Central Park Playland Manager. She will be our new WCKids Director, leading children’s ministry from birth to 3rd grade. She will still manage Central Park Playland.

Becky Medley Becky has served as our WCKids Minister for 18 years, she started in July 2004. She will enter into a new role as our WCStudent Minister. Becky will lead two separate ministries, one for 4th & 5th-grade students and one for Middle Schoolers - students in 6th-8th grade. Get ready pre-teens and Middle Schoolers for one wild ride!

Luke Borton Luke has served as our WCStudent Minister for 4 years. Luke will become our WCNext Gen Minister. Next-Gen means Next Generation. Luke will lead our High School Students and Young Adults for one year. After that year, we will hire a new High School Minister so Luke can devote his time to reaching young adults 18-30 years old. Our vision is to plant three churches in five years. Multiply Christian Church, led by Dan Stoffer, was the first of the three churches. Luke Borton will be our second church planter, he will plant a church targeting Gen Z. Please pray for God to continue to guide our steps. 

If you’re 18-30 years old, you’re invited to join us for lunch following the 10a service on June 5, 2022. We’ll meet in the Fireside Room to announce additional information, ask questions, create small groups and pray. 

These new roles will begin this coming August! We’re excited about this next step at Westerville Christian Church.
